Privacy

This page explains what the Beauport Court website collects and why. The site is run by the Beauport Court Board of Management.

The public pages

The public pages set no cookies and use no analytics or advertising trackers. Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time and browser) to keep the site running and secure.

The board area

The board area is for members of the Board of Management only. You sign in with your Google account or with a one-time link sent to your email address.

  • What we receive when you sign in: your name and email address. We use them only to check that you are on the list of board members. We do not receive your Google password or access anything else in your Google account. The sign-in page shows Google's own sign-in button, which Google provides under its privacy policy.
  • Cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in. It is not used for tracking.
  • The document assistant: when you ask the assistant a question, your question and the association's documents are sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the AI model, to produce the answer. Anthropic handles this under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to use the content to train its models.
  • Records we keep: sign-ins, and the questions asked with their answers, for up to 12 months, so the board can check the assistant's accuracy and cost.

We do not sell or share personal information with anyone else.
